Yes one blood sample is taken.
What am I tested for without the optional extras. and how much does it cost? The tests are: Height, weight, body fat percentage, body mass index (BMI) and resting blood pressure. Also included are tests on the kidneys, liver, glucose and haemoglobin. In addition we test Total cholesterol, LDL Cholesterol, HDL Cholesterol, Tryglycerides, PSA / Thyroid, Cardio vascular risk assessment and lung function (spirometry). When do I receive the results? You receive a fifty page document at the time of screening with all the results except for the Thyroid and PSA .These two results are given to you 48 hours later by telephone followed by a hard copy.
